The server issues have been resolved and Lime Flavored.com is back up.

Part of the special live broadcast announcement on December 2 was going to include the fact that this website is getting a makeover for the new year.  The plan was originally to make these changes slowly, over the course of December, until January would relaunch the site with the new look.

That is becoming increasingly difficult under the circumstances.

CyberChimp, which is the creator of the site template that I am using, has recently pushed an update that has broken some of the key features of the template.  The original plan was to move to a template with a different look, although also created by CyberChimp, and carefully get that set up.  After a forum conversation with CyberChimp’s programmers, it has been made abundantly clear that the “free template” I am currently using is not a priority for the team, nor is the ability to alter the originally planned new theme without paying for the “pro version,” which features the line “we aren’t sure you can get that changed in pro support, either, but that’s the only way to find out.”

Instead, I will begin altering Lime Flavored.com as soon as possible with a new theme, better theme, than anything currently produced by CyberChimp.  If the customer service wasn’t terrible, they wouldn’t have had me looking in different places for the services I need.

I apologize for the site being a little hard to navigate over the course of the next few weeks, but rest assured that everything will be completed by the January 1, 2013 deadline.  The status of the Lime Flavored Special on December 2, however, is undetermined as of the writing of this post.

There was an update to this theme that was sent through recently and now the slider images apparently aren’t working.  We apologize for the inconvenience and the programmers, I’m sure, are working to correct it.

I am unsure if Sean will be joining me at this point, but Echoes Darkly will be live broadcasting via Google+ Hangouts On Air at 2100 Central like normal.  The topic may not be Werewolf, though, as the last two weeks has been rather rough on both of us, but we’ll have plenty of World of Darkness / Echoes Darkly goodies to discuss, to be sure!  Join us!

Due to some scheduling issues, and North Dakota going through “Snowpocalypse,” I’ve decided to push the live broadcast of the Lime Flavored Special #1 to December 2 at 1800 Central time.

Have we stopped meeting?  Are we no longer watching Doctor Who?

NO!

The High Council of Lime Lords has begun convening to watch the ENTIRE SERIES from the first story right on through current day.  While only An Unearthly Child has been knocked out at this point, we have scheduled to meet for The Daleks, which will lead us to schedule at least one more episode before the Lime Lords return to audio in your ears.

The concept behind this is that we re-watch Doctor Who, from the beginning, every episode and comment… while we wait for Doctor Who to return to us live.  We just wanted to build up a few episodes before we start releasing our take on Doctor Who from the beginning.  Fear not, the Lime Lords are still traveling through lime… uh… time.

I honestly wonder if anyone is paying attention… or cares.  The reason I say this is because I have about 11 minutes edited up but there needs to be another 45 or so edited and I realized this morning that I haven’t worked on it in a really long time.  I apologize and will eventually get that video out, but it’s slower to edit video than audio.  Sorry!

Well, right now it’s available on YouTube in two parts… with my attempting to create the video for the feed, too, things are taking a little longer than I would have liked.  I apologize.  I will concentrate on getting the audio version out first, then work on the video version.  :)
